"Save as default" button still doesn't work as it should, as it requires clicking "Reset to default" for every file after a preset is changed, which kills its purpose. Also, Height and Pitch are still off and can't be saved as default for flat videos only.

Sideloading version 14.6 continues to be our best option for the time being.

Mike-Urilorib I'm not seeing these issues. Once you define your preferred defaults and set and apply them the y hold.
Half SBS not expanding to full frame has always been an issue with Deo for as long as I've been using it (3-4 years).

Mike-Urilorib where can I get a copy of version 14.6???? OMG please. 15.1 is an improvement for sure on portrait videos and the "default" settings they use are ALMOST decent but I would prefer to be able to set my own.

bncecil For non 3d videos. Everytime you press next video it resets to DEO defaults not your user defined defaults. Which means you have to press reset to defaults every time you skip to a new video. If you have pressed reset to defaults on that video it holds next time you watch it. But for any new video it uses some random defaults not the user defined one.

ok, photos are displaying washed out. I have to lower brightness -15 to -21 and it is still not right as it seems only portions of the image adjust. Video all formats playback ok.

And can we get a slideshow function for photos?

Hi, in quest 3 pc-link to (meta quest link desktop) the deovr player will not detect x y thumbstick control. Will you guys look into this? By the way steam-pcvr deo player works fine.

parrotcave I have the exact same issue. When I go Settings, Controllers I see a picture of a pair of Quest2 controllers, and I'm using a Quest3. I try to just map some basics, buttons seem to work, but there is no way to re-map the sticks. They don't work at all.
This seems to have been an issue for almost 2 years, maybe more. How can something so basic and important not have taken priority over almost anything else, especially new features?!?

just take any flat sbs photo play from dlna server and convert it will look over bright and squashed.

New update of deovr for quest 3 came out yesterday on 9/16/25 still did not fix the high brightness, and the full sbs bug, and another bug found will not save the settings (brightnesss; height etc.) of each photo.

I have the same issue with the Quest 2. Many of the controller functions don’t work especially the joystick. In settings these cannot be adjusted.

I didn't realise there was a new version, but I can't hardly use deovr anymore, for roughly 2 weeks on Pico 4 (not trying every day) (I mainly use it for SLR)

DariaDeoVR Yes, I have tried connecting to the computer with and without a cable. All functions work in both cases except the joystick is not recognized and has no functions.
