boboweb Kieshi I think I have the same issue but I do not manage to find a solution, I clearly see flickering and stuttering when playing videos with this new version 13.13, I did not have this problem with the previous version

Kieshi Just an update for you, I managed to get the app working via PCVR and link cable when loading in Steam VR. But it does not load via Meta! Hope that information will help you 🙂

I want to report for some performance problem with Steam DeoVR v13.13 .
After you lunch steam version of DeoVR v13.13 trough VD and Steam VR on DeoVR loading screen become some weird flickering and stuttering and the app become completely unresponsive and unusable . The solution for me is to lower the supersampling render resolution per-eye in SteamVR video settings to about 20% . Then DeoVR starts normal and when you play some video then you can increase SS render resolution to over 100% it works even to 150% . But if you leave DeoVR and try to start it again you get again the glitches at DeoVR loading screen ...
This is tested on Windows 10 , Quest 3 , RTX 40xx , VD v1.29.10 , SteamVR v2.2.2 .
Please dev team to check and fix this asap ! Thanks!
P.S There is not such issue on the very same PC system and DeoVR steam version 8.55 !

Latest update changed DEOvr so it doesn't see the left controller for the oculus quest 1 anymore

grimjack28 hello! When you use Meta store, does it see your left controller and then when you open DeoVR; it stops working, correct?
If not, please let me know the correct flow

Tested on HTC Vive controllers and with Steam Index controllers and no response from DeoVR. The

player.log file is just a flood (500kb per minute) of errors like this:

NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at DeoVR.XR.Controllers.ControllerManager.Update () [0x000e2]
NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at Valve.VR.SteamVR_Action_Boolean_Source.UpdateValue ()

wartington hi! just making sure I get you correctly: you are using HTC Vive headset and HTC Index headset with SteamVR while getting this issue?

Kieshi tried with HTC Vive Pro 2, using Valve Index controllers and then using HTC Vive controllers. None of them work in DeoVR. Not even the headset as pointer will work - DeoVR just doesn't recognise any inputs.

This is through SteamVR on Windows 10.

Actually I'm using the Occulus Quest\Rift(?)version. software it sees the left controller, but when I open DeoVR it stops. iIt only shows the VR cursor for the right controller, or the headset.

I just tried the Meta Quest version and that actually works and sees the left controller just fine, in the controller setup screen all the buttons light up when I press on the left controller. It's the DeoVR version on Oculus Quest that I just updated and now the left controller isn't visible.

The Oculus Quest version is installed on my PC and connected to my media so I use that, the Meta Quest one so far only reads my headset memory.

I use Quest3 and Quest AirLink to connect to the PC, and use the Oculus version of DeoVR
After I updated to 13.13, I cannot use the pointer of the hand controller and cannot see the controller.
I can only use the helmet's pointer to select the UI, but my controller buttons work fine

Everything was fine in 13.12, but something went wrong after updating to 13.13.
By the way, there is no problem with 13.13 in the Quest version, but there is a problem with the Oculus version.
