politie I didn't realise there was a new version, but I can't hardly use deovr anymore, for roughly 2 weeks on Pico 4 (not trying every day) (I mainly use it for SLR)
pkauffman1 DariaDeoVR Yes, I have tried connecting to the computer with and without a cable. All functions work in both cases except the joystick is not recognized and has no functions.
bncecil The latest update on my Quest 2 seems to have fixed the washed out photo problem. However I noticed overall now video playback seems different color-wise. I don't have any expertise on how to describe it technically. Seems shifted slightly to a brownish tint and not as saturated. Upping the saturation up +10 helps but still not the same as I recall the color rendering. I seem to recall in some version we could select different color spaces - unless that is on the Rift version or a different player altogether. Anyway, thanks for fixing the photo problem.
DariaDeoVR bncecil There is a Color Space setting in the Quick tab. What Color Space setting do you have enabled?
bncecil Thanks, I couldn't remember where the setting was and didn't think of quick settings or missed it. It was set to rec709, I had it set to quest forever. Odd though my Pocket 3 videos rendered/graded to rec709 are the ones that look most off.
dtro Subtitles in 3D mode (SBS 180 or FISHEYE) are double in the eyes. Subtitle channels for the left and right eyes are showing as reversed.
dtro DariaDeoVR I'm using the Quest 3 headset via Steam (PCVR). I noticed this occurs when playing local videos. I haven't tested videos from DeoVR, it might have the same ghosting.
DariaDeoVR dtro The issue may be connected to the subtitle file itself. You can also try a native app version for Quest 3.
