Unable to play any videos using DeoVR Json on quest 2

Hello,

I have followed the example json in the docs and am unable to play any videos at all using deovr json. I can get them to list in a grid with the correct thumbnail and duration but no combinations of encodings, formats, URLs, webservers, or anything else results in a video being played. I always get "Unsupported format"

I get that error for paths that exist, paths that don't exist, and I monitor the traffic and see that a request for the video URL never goes out.

Is there any known good quest 2 example json & video I can test with?

I tried using the reference json and I am able to play the videos when hosted on deovr CDN, but if I download the video and host it myself it simply gives an error message of "Video format not supported".

I am hosting the json file, the thumbnails, etc and that all works fine, but I can't play any videos if I host them myself. Are there any constraints or requirements for hosting the videos? Why would the same exact video work when hosted by deovr cdn but not by me? I'm not even seeing the HTTP request come in on my server, it's as if the app itself decides not to send the request because of an invalid format?

shlomo when you upload a video to our CDN, video is converted. You are most likely using the wrong format, which is why you are getting that message.

Yar would this be the case even for a video I download from DeoVR directly? I'm serving mp4 files encoded with h.264.

Also, I'm not even seeing the request hit my webserver. I get the error from DeoVR before the video is even attempted to be downloaded via HTTPS

Do your server use HTTP or HTTPS ? Do your website have a valid certificate, not self-signed?
When serving the video through deovr:// , do you use HTTP or HTTPS protocol ?
