The AB loop problem occurred again. It seems to be normal for about an hour, but then for some reason the AB loop is canceled. When I press the AB loop setting button, the AB loop I had originally set is restored, but it doesn't work again immediately. There seems to have been an update to the quest itself, and the problem seems to have started occurring after that.

Does it occur for all videos?
Can you please send the link where it doesn't work as expected?

This usually happens after about an hour of watching a looped VR video on DLNA, but sometimes it doesn't happen. As for the video, I'll just say that it's a VR video of a person modeled in 3DCG.

Since this update, i've been getting some serious stuttering and framerate issues, where every video will stutter every few seconds and completely ruins immersion. I'm using valve index, it happens with local vr files as well. I've tried reinstalling deovr, deleting cache on exit, to no avail, could anyone help with this?

Kizakiza Could you please check if the issue persists only when using the DeoVR application or with other streaming apps too? Also, please specify a version of your DeoVR app

TonyDeoVR Thanks for getting back to me, I can confirm this only happens on Deovr. I've used this app for a number of years and have not had this issue until the v14.9 update, build ID is 18911266. Any video I watch will have weird constant stuttering, sometimes if I open and close the video a bunch of times the issue will temporarily go away.

TonyDeoVR I've been a long time user of DeoVR, 3+ years already and everything has worked perfectly for the valve index until now, as great as DeoVR is, I'm not going to buy a $500 meta quest just to use deo when I have a perfectly good valve index that costed $1000. Is Deo ending support for Valve Index? Or did your comment mean its unlikely the dev team will fix problems on the valve index due to the lack of valve index users using the deo app? Should I temporarily cancel my Deo premium subscription until the stuttering bugs are fixed? (sorry if I sound passive aggressive, I'm not trying to be). Thanks for your reply, please let me know

We’re sorry for any inconvenience you've encountered with the Valve Index. While it's still a capable VR headset, it is now considered somewhat outdated. The last significant update for the Index was version 1.6.10, released in late 2019, which primarily focused on base station power management and white point adjustments. Since then, it has not received the kinds of system updates that newer devices rely on for ongoing compatibility and performance optimization.

DariaDeoVR the valve index came out in June 28 of 2019. You said the 1.6.10 released in August 2019 was the last significant update? They only had 1 significant update 1 month after release, and just gave up on the device?

Kizakiza SteamVR still gets updates, but the headset is not produced anymore.
Valve is likely to release a new headset in the near future.
