No, they are still on the right panel. If they are specified in the file name, then you will not see them in the settings. Just try to rename the file - to set the settings manually.

Ok I've done a bit more research…

With certain video files -- not necessarily related to whether the file-name parameters are present -- the main dashboard (when you pause a video) has two buttons in the lower left corner.
The first button offers these choices: Fisheye, Flat, Lat/Long (?), and Lens Profile (?).
The second button offers these choices: Mono, SideBySide, and TopBottom.

@Cajuntrickyfish Yes, this is the area I'm talking about. I'm loading the files into DeoVR from a local folder on my computer.

One of my video files has the file-name parameters "_180_3dh". When I load that file into DeoVR, those two buttons are missing, but the left and right images are wildly misaligned.

When I rename that file to remove the parameters, the buttons appear. I must set the second button to SideBySide, but, regardless of how I set the first button, the left and right images are still wildly misaligned.

Meanwhile, in MermaidVR, I can simply choose the settings "180" and "SBS" for that file, and everything looks fine

Klarkson hey hey! Check your settings to see if you have a saved offset there. Or send us a file so we can investigate it.

Klarkson I would suggest looking into settings and checking values when the video is misaligned and adjust height and zoom as these are the two values locked in 6dof. The “sweet spot” might be a few clicks negative because you may be shorter or sitting down. Vice versa if you happen to be taller. Also I have been experimenting with turning “stereo in ui” off and on again to see what it actually does and currently I find having it off is much better for “recentering” and I have astigmatism in one eye only so there is bound to be some misalignment but it’s much clearer with it off for some reason. Doing further test. Will update.

Discovery! The option "Alternative if default not working" makes a huge difference. Now, the video shows correctly regardless of its file name!

180 Fisheye is not the same as 180 Lat/Long.
By default if a video file name has "180" in it, DeoVR will assume it to be 180 Lat/Long. If that's actually a Fisheye 180 video, it will cause the mis-align problem.

Since now I experience the same thing, I have a better idea what it is.
Some MP4 videos might have set the 3D metadata, when AV Pro decoder encounters those videos, it will only render left half of the video, at the same time DeoVR still treated the rendered half picture as 3D SBS, thus causes wildly misaligned results.
To fix it, just use MKVtoolNix to remux the problematic mp4 videos into MKVs. The 3D metadata will be lost and AV Pro Decoder will render the video correctly again. Remuxing will not lost any picture or sound quality, takes only a few minutes to do. So it's an easy way to fix this problem.

philpw99 Hey hey! Perhaps this issue will be resolved later, we are doing research on use of VLC. If we decide to use it in the future, this issue will go away.
You can also switch the option to an alternative player - this should also solve issue for some videos.

This is under Win11. If I just turn on the "DirectShow", the problem will also go away, but the picture will not be as smooth as using HEVC extension. Therefore I will just remux it and fix the problem once and for all.
VLC will do a poor job. Whirligig already tried to do that, but it either didn't work, or worked poorly.

On the other hand, seems DeoVR in Quest 2 works great for VR180 videos. No need to change it. I just wish you will finally add the "Half Width" option back to DeoVR, to make our lives easier.
