Sorry to start with something negative, but this new update almost makes the software unusable. There is a frame now around the image, ruining every single video, and the left controller is floating now in front of my eyes all the time. Why I need the left controller for watching videos? I have always mine without battery otherwise this one depletes constantly even without use.

I really sorry. This was a cool program.

DeoVR no longer works. At startup, a small window appears with an exclamation mark and then it closes again.

    I can no longer click on menus on this page without the player hanging up.
    yes it's an 18+ site but i'm paying for it and it's not illegal. and I am seriously looking for a solution. should the problem be on my side, are there any approaches I could pursue?

      Sorry, i have the same problem, when i start deovr, appear a little windows and after that it crashes... 🙁

        Proph3cy StarP Can you provide more details so we can reproduce and investigate this? Headset, platform, did you install updates other than DeoVR? Are you using the latest firmware and software? Screenshots of errors maybe?

        Oculus Rift S here. Your player with the "buy" button is still unusable. I had no problem since your recent updates.

        • I need to select "alternative if default not working" option and then deselect it to start any video.
        • While playing a local video, button "next" does not work at all.
        • Button "buy" opens a login form ?!?
        • Button "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" does not work at all.

        I still don't undestand what is your goal with those new big fat buttons. All this new system is broken and made the best VR player one of the worst one.

        In General I don't like the idea to have submenu options. Previous interface was more ergonomic. Please at least make the "alternative if default not working" more easy to find.

        Sorry guys, it must be harsh, but I believe in you and hope you will soon stand back on your feet.

            Corbolan Hey, any one video is not played or all? Only in local mode or streaming?

              Yar Local mode, all videos are not working. Now get "Subscribe" "Unsubscribe" and "Buy" buttons on player. Play button does nothing. This is on Oculus Rift S and Windows 10.

                On the PC with Oculus Link update notification says updated to v11.61. When I start Deo VR it says v11.5. Old logo. I uninstalled and reinstalled - says v11.61 installed but app itself still says v11.5 with old logo.

                Headset app days updated, opens with new logo and say v11,6.

                watching my photos is okay, but videos both local and on internet is a disaster: when I pause or I want to exit the video, the app crashes. This for the PC version.

                Hey guys, had the same issue not being able to play local files. Does your DEO default to a website where you need to log in before you navigate to your local files? You may either need to log in to the website, or change the address that loads to deovr.com

                I tried these methods and after that I was able to play all my local files, and the Subscribe, Unsubscribe, and Buy buttons dissapeared too.

                Yet again, you guys knock it out of the park. First you screwed up the UI. Now you can no longer even play videos.

                Although they play fine in Skybox still. So - it's definitely a you thing, not a me thing.

                Also, I ain't subscribing or logging on to play my own local videos. You don't need that information. So..nah.. you ain't getting that info.

                Yar How do I update the app ?!? Btw I already have version 11.61.

                Don't ask me to update, you have to ROLLBACK !!!!

                  This is strange. What you described is clearly 11.5, and 11.6 fixed all those problems already.

                  Maybe you do need to uninstall DeoVR, then delete all DeoVR files, cleanup the registry then install DeoVR again.
                  If you are still seeing the "buy" button, you are running the 11.5.
