xirit95332 After a recent update controllers don't work inside deovr. The only function that works is when you click the home button to exit deovr. I assume that still works because it is managed by meta itself. Judging from the recent reviews on https://www.meta.com/en-gb/experiences/pcvr/1004289456346194/ i'm not the only one with this problem. Is there a way to fix this or do i have to wait an update to fix it? Is it currently a known issue?
PavleDeoVR Hi xirit95332 , would love to take a further look into this. Can you please raise a ticket through https://deovr.com/pages/contact so we can investigate? We'll need information like your device type, where you're using the app from (SteamVR, Quest Link, etc.) and the app version (written as v12.345.6789). Thanks!
Erazzzer Same problem here. Can you post the solution here as soon as there is one? The last update from Meta seems to be the start of the problem.
PavleDeoVR We have a new update planned in the very near future, so absolutely! However, please keep in mind that app compatibility will also depend a lot on the device types that are currently supported by Meta as well. There is a possibility that future versions of DeoVR may not be fully optimized for discontinued devices such as Quest 1/Go and such. We have a list of currently recommended devices here: https://deovr.com/blog/64-what-is-the-best-headset-for-viewing-vr-content-on-deovr
kpatt2006 Same problem here with controllers no longer working recently. Skybox has the same problem. Found two other VR players that work, but they're not nearly as polished apps. I have the Oculus Rift.
PavleDeoVR Hey all, another user did a great job investigating and ended up on this meta discussion: https://communityforums.atmeta.com/t5/Get-Help/Oculus-Rift-controllers-not-working-in-game-after-update/m-p/1208783. Looks like the recent update tweaked a few things with Rift. We don't provide support for discontinued devices but I see that some people found potential workarounds that would be worth exploring. Hope this helps!
