I think the stereoscopic video from iPhone 15 pro is a practical joke: you simply cannot shoot true 3D videos from cameras that doesn't have the same IPD as human eyes. What we are going to get will be lots and lots of fake 3D videos.

It also doesn't make sense to buy 2 iPhones to shoot 3D videos.

Plus iPhone's cameras are not 180 fisheyes. The videos are pre-processed by OIS and imaging chip. They are poorly fit for making VR videos.

And who will spend $3500 to buy the Apple Vision Pro, please raise your hand here.

Good morning
It is people like this, responsible for a large company, who know nothing about 3D, who are killing Stereoscopy. I practice VR180 3D, VR360, and stereoscopic 3Ds with a Sony TD10 camcorder. I thank Google for relaunching 3D with the VR180 3D, I hate them for giving up and not keeping up. Fortunately, manufacturers like Calf will follow. Fortunately other people are working on Gaussian Splatting (Nerf Studio). It will be the future, but at my age I wouldn't know. I continue my little nature videos in VR180 3D and stereoscopic 3D.

So, is the Vision Pro capturing the 3d video, or the iPhone 15 Pro that's capturing the video ?
If that's vision pro, it will be much better. However, we still need to wait for it to come out first.
So far in the post, it was iPhone that's doing the 3d capturing.

Or wait until someone develops a player that can play the format :-) Filming is already possible. So you have material to test.
