Having same problem on Quest 2. Vids that played before are now not playing properly. No error message. Just playing completely blurred.

H.265/HEVC videos stopped playing for me too. I get a popup that I don't have appropriate codecs, but I do! They used to work before the update. What's going on? 🙁

Not playing vids - this is just something very normal for DeoVR ... after update ... Nothing old isn`t forgotten and nothing new isnt learned ... lol 🙂 Thats why is still keep v8.55 - the last one that works proper ....

Wow ! This one is pretty big ! Congrats on this achievement !!
Most amazingly, you guys can pack the alpha channel with regular RGB videos ! That's pretty cool !
However, if in the future DeoVR can read video files with alpha channel natively, that will be perfect!

Hi Sandi:

I downloaded he latest Codec from Microsoft (now they charge .99 for some reason) and rebooted.Does not fix the problem. Also tried downloading the LAV filter package. Did not help. Something seems to be wrong with the latest update. Sounds like you working on a fix which we appreciate. Anyway to go back to an earlier version until then?

Jacques3D Hey, could you elaborate more clearly, from translate I dont understand if there is an issue with 16:9 ratio playing as 1:1, or is it something else?

my default image settings (like sharpness etc) are not default anymore after the update. When i play any new video, all settings are reset to zero and i must manually select "Reset to default" for every video which is annoying.

Yes there is way to roll back earlier version even it isnt very easy one but have been tried and it works fine !

These videos are from the Sony TD10e camcorder so in MVC at the start.
I edit my edits now in 3840x1080 25ips and the problem is fixed.

Sandi_DeoVR Hi Sandi, I am having a weird bug with .mov files being all blurry and non decoding properly. Converting them to .mp4 solves this. Just wanted to give u a heads up. Pico 4. Also, it appears the 6DOF object placement is a bit better? Maybe I am imagining it! LOL :
