First of all, thank you for building a platform that supports long-form VR walking content. I’m creating steady treadmill walking sessions (30–40 min) and testing everything directly in Quest 3.
As a creator focused on real cardio sessions, I’d like to suggest one important improvement in the player controls.
Horizontal-only rotation mode (very important)
Right now, when using grab+trigger and dragging, the sphere rotates freely in all axes.
For treadmill walking sessions, this often causes unwanted vertical tilt.
It would be extremely helpful to have:
• A dedicated “Horizontal Lock” mode
• When enabled, grab + left/right movement rotates the scene only on the horizontal axis
• No vertical drift
• No accidental tilt
This would greatly improve comfort during long steady sessions and reduce motion discomfort.
Many treadmill users look forward and only adjust heading slightly left/right. Vertical movement is rarely needed.
From a creator perspective, small UX improvements in the player can dramatically improve long-session usability.
