What do you want from DEOVR as from video streaming platform?

It's good that there is a somewhat easy to remember channel link, for example I have deovr.com/channel/xr-stereo-video that was made automatically.
It would be useful if you could shorten it further, because I wanted to tell people the channel name today out of memory but I didn't remember if it said /channel/ or /username/ and whether there were "-" signs" or where. Because they enter the name in their device, not on mine.
I'll remember it now but others might be in the same situation. For example I have youtube.com/drifterb3 and also youtube.com/@drifterb3 which is the same channel and a pretty short name. So if people don't remember their Deo VR channel name, they might give the Youtube one instead for example because of this.
If you could remove the /channel/ part and maybe not introduce the "-" sign I think it might be easier for people to share their Deo VR channel with others simply out of memory or assumption, without getting on a device, particularly if they tell you that they have VR headsets. So for example mine would ideally be deovr.com/xrstereovideo . And maybe deovr.com/@drifterb3 for the username. Maybe you can reorganize the structure of the website, move other subdomains of your website further down the branches and keep the channel names as direct subdomains to your website.
This would get you new app installs and new users more easily, it can be the difference between becoming a user then or not becoming one for a long while.
Also, if people are going to put their channel address on any sort of promotional material, it would best be short, you know how people exchange IDs from any Big Tech platform, where the username/ channel name is a direct subdomain.

I have sideloaded a newer version of my headset's software than the one I was on and now 2 problems are solved, even though I'm still on Android 10:

Deo VR now connects through my OpenWRT router so I can retire the other router that I was running solely for Deo VR.
Now the latest version of Deo VR works on my headset, I am now up to date with your latest features. I hope you will continue to support Android 10.

On features I would like to see:

unless I'm missing something, I would like there to be hand gestures for previous video/ next video via hand tracking. Where is there a list of supported hand tracking gestures?
It would also be great if there was an option to recenter the video by changing the orientation only on the vertical axis, so the world doesn't tilt or roll.
there still is no way to choose 3D only videos, I'm not interested in anything 2D.

My earlier list of requested features still stand, but there are things that the deovr website does that the current app does not support that I would like to see ported over. Specifically:

Playlist support in-app

Like, cool, we got it now on the website. But that doesn't help much when it's not available in app. Would also like time-chapter support as well

Lastly, whatever happened to the Build-Your-Own-Journey function? That was a great idea but I don't know how to build a byoj tree? Is it even do-able anymore? Does the app support it?

I'd be interested in an API that would let me stream the top hemisphere of 360 video as a skybox in Unreal Engine.

Some suggestions:

Add a SlideShow option for viewing multiple local photos.
Make the hand gestures work even when the the menu interface is not displayed. For example, I use a hand gesture to go to the next picture in my folder. But it defeats the purpose if the menu needs to be open for that to work.
Make the virtual hands similar to the "black shadow" ones we see on the Quest home or on YouTubeVR. The weird blue/green color scheme currently on DeoVR reduces the immersion.

Viceos should be present in their full resolution first. For many weeks I taught that video on Deovr were not sharp. The reason. I did not take note that for each video there's an option to increase the resolution. So, why not presents all video with their best resolution at first?

Support local SMB browsing and streaming.
DLNA is not as popular as SMB sharing. Many small routers and NAS supports SMB, but not DLNA.
I can easily do DLNA at home, but once I bring my Quest 3 for a trip, DLNA becomes almost impossible.

A way to block flat 2D videos from my feed, as well as 2D to 3D slop AI conversions.
Or the ability to block individual channels.
Or a way to give a video a "thumbs down", as we do on YouTube, as a way to tell the creator and the algorithm that we don't appreciate certain types of content.
Improved visuals for the virtual hands. Why the heck are they blue?
Improved way to set 'default' viewing parameters for streaming and for local files (been asking this for ages)

There is a toggle "Show Flat" on the left on the website. Have you tried to disable it?

DariaDeoVR That toggle disables 2D videos, but it also disables real 3D SBS and TB videos. I'd like to disable only 2D (non-VR) videos and AI generated fake 3D.

Kirill as a user it would be great for Deo to allow quest 3 depth API occlusion so that user's hands and arms can be layered on top of digital content while watching passthrough AR videos.

Fix/modify the compression level for videos >=4K. Currently, uploading videos with fast motion doesn't make sense, as the result is massively compressed video. This is HUGE for 3D videos watched with 3D glasses/Quest/Primax, etc., as the image is close to the eyes and every detail is highly noticeable. After such compression, it's often impossible to recognize what's actually in the video.
Even with slower scenes, too much compression causes the image to differ significantly from the right eye (blocky compression), resulting in a dirty lens effect and eye fatigue. Overall, this causes significant discomfort.
I reported the problem eight months ago, and nothing has changed. I understand that it might be a problem with the space the video takes up, but it's strange that DeoVR still stores the original video. For example:

Original video (resolution: 7680x2160) - 3.5GB
DeoVR compression - 450MB

YouTube does it a lot better.
