Error loading thumbnails

Hi, on the japanese slr I'm getting:

error loading thumbnails, error loading response
getting bad json escape sequence \5 path 'list[4] .description', line 8, position 4470

After that the app is locked up and website bar is not clickable and not navigatable.

It was working just fine a few days ago. on Oculus DeoVR app. Any help is appreciated.

Yet this error shows that your platform is very vulnerable to simple json mistakes. How's that "in no way related to our platform"? I really don't understand.

philpw99 I guess simple answer is to fix this error in the JSON file.

It's not as simple as that. For people who dealt with json, they all knows the quotes and escapes could be easily messed up. And for foreign languages like Chinese and Japanese, they are using characters that are similar but not the same, thus creates more problems.
Like “ and " look similar, but they are not the same, and the former use extensively in Chinese documents. So it could be very easily that the jsons created in Chinese typed in the wrong quotes. I think similar things might have happened to the Japanese SLR website.
So the best way to prevent this from happening, is to add some error check in the program and handle the error accordingly. This is a common practice in programming anyway.
