ili Yes. I turn on the HP Reverb with a power switch on the outlet. I have a lens protector on the goggles, so WMR starts and I shake the goggles with my hand for room calibration. I only use VR while seated (and only the right controller). This is a setting in WMR. In WMR Home I positioned the icon for DeoVR. I start it with the controller and DeoVR starts. It is Steam/Steam VR for Windows MR. My hardware is a notebook. Alienware m17 r4 i9 10980HK 32GB RAM 4TB SSD M2 for C:. RTX3080 16GB VRAM Laptop GPU, HP Reverb G2. I can view 8K HEVC video 60p and 16K jpg photos with no problems.
In addition, I have an Alienware graphics amplifier with an RTX3090 (for 8K video denoising etc.). This is connected via PCIe3. Too slow for simple tasks. When I use this, I often have problems, but already with WMR. DeoVR is then not good either. OpenXR stands on Windows MR. I read that in one of the three menus today. Today I tried both (RTX3080 Laptop GPU and RTX3090 eGPU) with no problems. Also passthrough. No problems, everything is smooth.
