I've noticed some regressions in the app which is making me heavily debate finding other photo viewers, I think these features were extremely useful but have been slowly removed by the developers, is there any chance they will be brought back?
Some VR photos and images will autodetect the projection (VR, VR180, 3D VR, etc) but the option to change the projection will not be available, even if the automatic projection selected was wrong.
The ability to force 3D VR images to display mono is also no longer available as it was hidden behind a menu which was disabled for images instead of video.
It's made a lot of the images I own completely unviewable and has been forcing me to look for alternatives, Deo used to be a great player but I just have a hard time understanding why the developers are removing key features that brought me to use the app in the first place. It feels like the intent is to make the player 'smarter' but in doing so it loses the versatility that made it a good app to begin with.
