DLNA with jellyfin

I've been using Universal Media Server for a while now but it sometimes freezes up when loading folders and you can't sort by date for some reason, so I decided to check other options. Plex lets you sort by date, but hard links in the same library don't work correctly... So I decided to try Jellyfin. When I try connecting in deovr it says "Invalid URI: Invalid port specified". jellyfin logs indicate it's using port 8096 -

I can connect to it in bigscreen fine, granted sbs doesnt work, but it plays the raw video well. Only thing I could find about this online was a post on sexlikereal's support forum from 2021, which had no responses.

I figured out how to change the port in jellyfin so I changed it to the same port universal media server runs off of. I get the same error. Bigscreen still "works" with the new port.
