Hi,
When playing a local video with a .srt subtitle the subtitle is hidden behind the video.
When I enlarge the subtitles and show the video in flat I can see the subtitle sticking out the sides of the video so the subtitle file works and shows up Its just not visible on the video. Only outside the video.
When viewing this video in vr (180 side by side) my whole view is taken up by the video and the subtitles are not visible at all (they are presumably behind the video). Moving the subtitles closer or further or any other settings does not fix the issue.
This seems to me a simple issue to fix. Make sure the subtitle layer is in front of the video layer.
Advertising for subtitle support but not having it function properly does not make for a good customer experience.
I am on version 14.4.2655 (most recent one as of writing). I reinstalled the app (still the same issue). I use the Oculus Rift CV1 on pc and Deovr is installed on Meta Quest Link (standard software to run the rift with).
Is there anything I can do to fix this issue or is this a known issue currently with the software? Other reports on this forum about subtitles not working are from a couple months ago so hopefully this will be fixed quickly.
Generally I really like using DeoVR so hopefully I can watch with subtitles soon.
