Why access to local net files it's so difficult!!

Why is accessing local network files stored on different media so difficult with DeoVR!! I mean with Skybox I can easily access via SMB or via DLNA a USB storage connected to the router, my NAS, a DLNA server with Serviio and a DLNA server with Plex. With DeoVR only DLNA is available and it is always a big headache to make it work well, even if most of the time it does not work. Your 3D viewer is the best in my opinion, but these are aspects that users have been asking for a long time and you have never solved.

There was a time when I used DeoVR almost everyday: watching 3d movies, VR videos or just simple 2D videos.
Then someone decided to take away the feature of playing HSBS 3d movies, which are like 90% of the ones online.
Then when it comes to SMB accessing, no one wanted to do it, while the other VR players had this feature for years.
Then they didn't want to do the curve screen for a long long time, it was also a standard feature of other players.

So now, the only reason I want to use DeoVR is just to play Alpha videos, which is the exclusive feature of DeoVR.
I don't know why DeoVR has been acting like this. Probably the stubbornness is the feature, not a bug.
