I'm unable to determine if DeoVR (PC/Rift) is actually using DirectShow for HEVC.
I had previously installed the K-Lite codec pack on my Windows 10 desktop system and set all the appropriate tweaks and codec/filter settings for LAV. DirectShow was confirmed by opening an HEVC video in DeoVR with DirectShow enabled, going to the desktop from the Link App and confirming the LAV icons in the system tray.
I had stopped using DeoVR for many months waiting for a resolution of the resume playback feature not working.
Now when I play a HEVC video in DEOVR (PC/Rift) the LAV icons do not show in the system tray. I reinstalled K-Lite and set all the tweaks to no avail. I can play an HEVC video with MPC-HC set to external filters and the LAV icons show. I uninstalled K-Lite and installed the LAV filter/codec pack and made all the appropriate settings.
Again I can confirm the LAV codecs/filters are being used by MPC-HC but not DEOVR.
Is there something else I need to set now to get DirectShow to work with DEOVR?
