Hi, I find myself occasionally watching flat videos in VR (like a lunatic), but I've realized that DeoVR could really benefit from some Philips Ambilight-esque ambient lighting in the background of flat videos. Perhaps just a blurred version of the flat video, projected around you, or just extended behind the flat screen. Or perhaps an option to use your menu background in flat videos. The gaping black void around the video is just a little too immersion-breaking for me.
