Can't access SD card with Destek VR5 on Android

Recently I set up for my grandsons a Destek VR5 headset using an out of date Samsung Galaxy J6+ Android 'phone. I downloaded a number of suitable VR videos onto an empty SD card and it worked fine. I now want to do the same for me and my wife with a similar headset using a Samsung Galaxy A20e but every time I try to access the SD card I get a message saying IO error >>access to the path '/storage 9C33-6BBD' is denied. Is there a cure for this please?

petrel Did you use the card on a PC?
If so, I'd suggest wiping the card of all partitions, not just the data, put it in the phone and let the phone partition it. This could ofcourse result in Windows not being able to read the card without Linux Ext plugin. But you should be able to transfer the videos over USB or WiFi connection.

Thanks Tony. I'll give that a go as I did exactly what you thought: copied everything straight from a folder on the PC into a folder created on the card while the 'phone was plugged into the PC.
