Just confirming that i had the same problem on pc vr with 2 different headsets. I think that problem first started over 6 or 8 months ago when i first reported it, its not a new bug. It lead me try other products.

Version 13.20.2039 It pains me that ''Resume From Last Position'' is forever Broken for offline local playback. Although, it will resume for particular online sites I use, it is important to me that this functions for offline local files as well. Please prioritize this fix. I had tons of offline videos to resume at particular points and now it's all Ruined. Created the account just to say this : ( This Hurts!

danevu524 Skybox on the same quest 3 headset is working as normal so I do not think this is a MEta quest operating system problem.
but may get you around temporarily.

Skybox is not any where near as good as Deovr for pass through operation so please try fix this deovr people

Resume is still not working.

This feature is so necessary I am sure even you guys at DEOVR must be pissed off that this is not working.

Could this be a meta quest problem rather than deovr?

Can we put the videos in your deovr directory where presumably you have full access maybe?

It was stated on the DeoVR Discord channel that standalone local playback is Officially not supported any longer. That would mean any problems related to local playback is likely to never be resolved.

Pity as the UI for DeoVR is the best suited for how I like to view videos on my Quest 2. I find from being the most used media player for me it has dropped to seldom used since this playback issue began.

If DeoVR should ever go paid I will not be purchasing it. Previously I would gladly have paid.

We also do not officially provide support for local play anymore, so future updates may not make any changes on your end. Thanks for understanding

Lets try and keep this on track restating at a position even on a DLNA should still work.

DeoVR's main users are VRporn and being able to get back to the same position so to speak is a really big thing to lose

FWIW - You can apply a workaround using the AB Loop feature on DLNA. Before exiting the video, turn on the Loop and create a short A-to-B loop where you're at. Then exit the video. When you return, it should start playing the AB loop from that same spot. You can then turn off the Loop and resume watching as normal. It's not ideal as you have to remember to do it each time, but it's better than nothing.

Yes you can do A and B but it is really not as good. Please please fix this. PLease
