Is passthrough possible on the Quest 3 via QuestLink/PCVR?

I'm using the Steam version of Deo. When I use passthrough, the background is just black.

According to a comment by KatDEO, it's not possible to do this. Is that still correct? Is this a limitation with Deo or Meta?

While I could use Deo via the Quest app, the problem is that the files are on my PC.

Pass-through requires onboard cameras that DeoVR can use. So far DeoVR can utilize Quest 2/3 cameras, but I don't think it can use PC's camera to do pass-through. So the short answer, again, is "NO".
To view files in your PC from Quest DeoVR, you can do the following:

Setup a DLNA server. Easiest way is to use Plex server.
Setup a HTTP server that will show your local directories. Then you can use DeoVR's browser to view the files.
If you use a Porn organizer name "Stash", I have a special fork that can serve video files from it.
