Deleting files in DeoVR causes the app to freeze and have to exit

I've tried unsuccessfully over 20 times trying to delete a file from DeoVR, I used to use it going through my library and deleting files like crazy but after a year of no VR and just updating it and trying again it hangs the software every time. My only option is to use SteamVR menu to close the app. The behavior is basically I click the file and delete and the box to delete the file stays overlaid but is now frozen and I can't use the software.

I figured this was a common problem but I can't seem to find others with it. I've uninstalled multiple times and reinstalled, same issue each time. I figure if others are having it would be quite common. Any idea how to fix or are others having this?

It actually gives a white filled in box where the Yes used to be, and this also happens when Resetting View, the Yes turns to a white filled box, can't click it, the entire UI is locked but can look around, and only option is to exit since the screen is overwritten with the inability to Reset View or Delete files...
Come on guys 🙁 No one?

Kieshi Thanks for the reply and I will get that information to you. I am using Valve Index on Windows 10 with newest DEoVR (I will get more relevant details once I get you a screenshot now that I know someone is willing to look into this, I thought it was everyone having the problem!)

I will load VR and test it here shortly. Every time I have tried it has resorted in it freezing, it also does this when clicking "recenter view" option, the white overrides the "Yes" option. I'll figure out how to screencap it and thanks again for the reply.

I've restarted Steam dozens of times (this has been over the course of 40 days I've tried it and no luck). I don't know if I've actually updated the headset itself in over a year (it bricked a tracker for me a few years ago so I avoid doing headset updates, maybe I'll update it first before testing this since that might be a recommended suggestion)

Thanks again developer for responding.

I updated the firmware on the headset and the issue went away. This was not related to DeoVR. The RECENTER button now properly shows blue instead of white square, and the delete files yes answer is blue and does not show as a white square.
If anyone encounters this issue, update your Index / other headset.

Kieshi I have the same problem with the confirm button being white and DeoVR freezing. I can't get rid of the problem (all versions of software, DeoVR and SteamVR and hardware, Index Valve headseat and controllers, have the latest versions. And I've tried with and without beta versions.

If I was on a local folder with the SteamVR version, closed VR and then deleted this folder, the next time I access the folder I get an error message that I cannot confirm. DeoVR has to be closed and then restarted. Then it works. This has only been the case for a few weeks.
