New feature! VR Photos are now available at DeoVR. View incredible VR photographs from all over the world and share your own ultra-high-quality immersive images!

This feature is currently available for web DeoVR only but will be available on the DeoVR app very soon.

I’m excited to try this out. With my animation software I can export CG photos in any resolution I want, in any aspect ratio and format. (3D SBS, VR180, 3D-360) What is the maximum dimensions DeoVR can support for these photo formats? The article mentions 10K, but what are the exact pixel dimensions for a 10K VR180 or a 10K Flat 3D SBS? Thanks.

I thought my question was pretty basic. No one knows max resolution for photos? Particularly a VR180 or 3D SBS. The blog says 10K, but what is the max pixel dimensions for those two formats?

Also, on a Quest 3, would a 10K photo look better than an 8K photo?

No clue, but I just uploaded three separate 16384(w) x 8192(h) photos. On all three photos I'm getting a prompt, "Need to upload photo thumbnail manually". However, I'm not seeing any place to manually upload a thumbnail. I doubt these three photos will get published.

Also, thank you DeoVR devs for making the photo feature within your app!
