Local videos now have 6DOF and passthrough enabled by default

I'd like to discuss a recent change in the DeoVR UI that has affected my experience as a user. Prior to the update, when playing local videos, the default settings were as follows:

6DOF (Six Degrees of Freedom) was OFF.
Passthrough was OFF

These settings provided a seamless and immersive viewing experience without any distractions. However, with the recent update, the default behavior has been altered in a way that's causing frustration:

6DOF is now ON by default.
Passthrough is also ON by default (configured with "Override6DOF" enabled and set to Alpha Packing instead of ChromaKey)

This is frustrating because I rarely want to use these features, and it's annoying to have to manually switch them both off for every video.

I propose that the DeoVR Team consider reverting the default settings to their previous state:

6DOF OFF by default.
Passthrough OFF by default.

This adjustment would significantly improve the user experience and allow users to customize their settings according to their preferences, while preserving the simplicity and ease of use that DeoVR has been known for.

Additionally, it seems like turning on Passthrough automatically turns on 6DOF now. Maybe this is related to the mysterious "Override6DOF" switch that is enabled by default?

heyleyreading the automated 6DOF is intentional, but you can always switch it off if you don't like it. The override sets 6DOF to 2, this is all it does.
We believe 6DOF provides better PassThrough experience, this is why this decision has been made

6DOF should NEVER be assumed default if the user does not intend it to be. 6DOF is vomit inducing with the way it is handled inside videos (limitations of the format) since the POV is unable to be properly adjusted with a static image. It should be a functioning default option as 90% of videos are not passthrough in my case.

I'm sorry but 6DOF should not be tied to passthrough. They are two seperate features. 6DOF currently is shit in most cases. Your user experience team is absolutely retarded if they think it's a good idea to have one control do two things.

Make a third control that turns them both on if you really feel the need to have them linked.

For literally every video I look with passthrough, at i have to:
1. turn on passthrough,
2. go to the 6DOF page
3. turn off 6DOF.

It's so bloody annoying
