I have tried multiple times to "Schedule" a video to be published at a future date and am having issues. The website states that the video will remain Private until the Publish date. But today, Jan 15th, I uploaded a video and clicked "Schedule" and chose for it to be published in 3 days from now, Jan 18th. But instead, as soon as the video was finished processing, it started receiving views. I logged into DeoVR about an hour after the video finished processing and saw that the video already had 100 views. I immediately switched the video to Private.
Normally, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if my video was published 3 days prior to when I wanted it to. But my videos are Flat 3D videos, a format DeoVR continues to claim that they support, but give the users no way of actually uploading with proper settings. So my Flat 3D video was displayed as a spherical video and the 100 viewers who watched the distorted scrambled video are now less likely to want to watch future videos I publish or subscribe to my channel.
The whole reason I wanted to publish my video 3 days later is because once I upload my 3D videos, I need to contact DeoVR support and have someone change the projection from spherical to Flat. If DeoVR had 24/7 tech support, this could be resolved quickly, but since their staff is limited and most live on the other side of the planet than me, it can take a day or two for them to fix the video (which essentially is clicking a button on their end) And by that point, once my video is ready to go public, it's Publish date is now 2 days old and no longer will appear in the "New" section of the DeoVR site. (thus losing potentially hundreds of views)
