Passthough on PCVR

Will passthrough on current and upcoming PCVR headsets
(Pimax Crystal/12K, Varjo XR3/XR4, Somnium VR1) ever be supported ?

Maybe all that would be needed would be for DeoVR to support the OpenXR interface ?

Hello Francin,
unfortunately PS is not supported in PCVR headsets, this is a function that only works in headsets when they are not connected to the PC.

if one day Primax, Quest, Pico, etc, allow PT when connected to the PC, then we can add this functionality, but for now , is not possible.

Neither of the Varjo headsets or the upcoming Somnium VR1 have a standalone mode and they have all passthrough cameras. The Pimax passthrough module which is coming will also be PC-only.

If you are using Unity for development, it seems the headset maker only needs to provide a Unity plugin (such as Varjo for example has already done) for XR ?
