Recent holder of a premium account on SLR (taken for the year), I'm sure here, rather a fan of local storage.
I was able to recover all the videos I wanted and they can be found on my NAS (so far, no problem, I have already been using this config for a few years).
I access my videos in DLNA with a GearVR and a Note 8 (yes, ok, there are better, but as long as my smartphone works, I do not intend to change the config, when the time comes, I will take a Quest 2, see 3 if already available at that time, moreover, I recovered all the videos in 1920p (for all those available, if not less) in x265 (history still to save space).
I have, on my NAS, a plex server and on my note 8, I use Pigasus VR Media which is really an excellent video player (possibility of DLNA and SMB ).
Now here is my problem. Future owner of a Handy, so I will have to go through DeoVR.
So I installed it and took a look at how it works.
And that's where I noticed two little things that I find unfortunate and which I think should be improved / integrated into the software.
-Video thumbnails are not optimized.
Using the official thumbnails of the various production studios (in order to provide better visibility of which video it is), the or Pigasus offers an adaptive thumbnail (whether the thumbnail is horizontal or vertical, we can see it in full), DeoVR offers non-adaptive and left-centered thumbnails, so the thumbnails are not super visible (as you can see in the screenshots, sorry, it's not super well centered).
-It seems to be impossible to bookmark a link coming from DLNA (whereas on Pigasus it is possible), so I have to go all the way each time to reach the videos (well, that 's is not super long to do, but it's not super pleasant either).
So here it is, would it be possible to correct and add to these two points please?
