Oculus Quest 2 - Sort by Date Isn't Doing Anything?

Please see subject. Using DEO VR (latest version) on an Oculus Quest 2 and playing media files via DLNA the Sort by Name and Sort by Size options DO work perfectly, however the Sort by Date option doesn't appear to do anything at all?

Where do these dates come from?
Part of filename, the metadata or pulled from the web by the media server?

I just tested with Plex as server and it works fine.

Hi. I have the same problem. Name and size sort works fine but date sort does nothing. I find a reverse date sort is particularly useful to see the latest (usually unplayed) files at the top of the list.
I don't know where the player gets the date from but I assumed it was the date on the file. I was using the SkyBox player for VR playback and that sorted fine on the date so I know it is accessible and correct.

Hi, the server is responsible for sorting, we just get a list. Sorts must be checked in the server settings. Perhaps there is not enough meta data.
