MKV and subtitles problems

Hello, I have a problem with mkv videos, I usually watch series like anime in mkv with subtitles, but this player doesn't recognize them, I can only see the video, but not the subtitles, other players can recognize it but they overlap the simultaneous subtitles, so it's imposible for me watch series in VR. The only way is turn the MKV into MP4 but it takes me hours. What could I do?

PD: I'm using Samsung Gear VR

KratoZCelsiuS If it's AVC or HEVC + AAC there's a good chance you can just rename it to .mp4

If it doesn't work, you don't need to transcode mkv to mp4, look up MKV remux mp4
(Not remix)
Theres tons of ways to do it, FFMPEG, handbreak (just set everything to keep original), even VLC can do it.

Tony Hello, sorry I didn't have time before, I tried FFMPEG, but it didn't work🙁 , I can convert mkv to mp4, is fast, but the subtitles are outside of the video (I need the subtitles inside of the video). If you have another solution could be great, my only solution is using a program "iSkysoft iMedia Converter Deluxe" to convert mkv into mp4, but it takes 1 hour per episode. Thank you so much for attending my problem
