I'm trying to get started using the WebVR Hub library documented here:
But after trying to implement this example, I notice a few problems, listed below. I'm the DeoVR app via SteamVR on a WMR headset.
I imagine my problem must be very simple. So I created this codepen sample of my implementation.
Any help/suggestions for what I'm missing would be appreciated.
But my problems are...
1) The initial load of the hub contains a play icon, as if a movie was about to be displayed. The hub does not display until I press it.
2) Browsing to the hub site in the DeoVR through SteamVR, I still see the "Go VR" and "Open In DeoVR" buttons in the upper left and right corners of the screen. It does not recognize that I should be treated as already being in VR. But not sure how via html/js/css that is communicated to a web browser like DeoVR.
Clicking either of these buttons gives directions to enter commands like "chrome://flags/#enable-webvr" into the address bar. But again, I'm using this from the DeoVR app's browser via SteamVR.
3) The hub interface is rendered inside the DeoVR browser box still.
If I use my controller to pivot the screen, the hub sections can be moved off screen. It is treating these movements as me looking away. The way it behaves is exactly as it does when viewing the Hub interface via Chrome in windows.
