Thanks!
I'll try share some sample later on, but I spent more time and I think I have a better understanding now.
If I do the following it "somehow" works:
- Capture
- Edit stereo in Mistika Boutique - I mostly follow Hugh Hou's tutorials : https://www.youtube.com/@hughhou -
- Pick a focus point in edit, ensure it's stereo good
This makes that part of the video pretty good. Everything is again cross-eyed if the object of focus comes close or farther.
However not only this is not good enough, but also it's very long painful process. It takes too much time to produce even simple videos.
I thought without further editing I can just capture, and watch simple things in DeoVR, unless the stereo fixed (VR stitched) it's not possible right now.
What are the things I have to do to capture a video I can just play in DeoVR?
For example I have these questions:
- Which codec to shoot?
- What resolution
- Aperture / ISO
- Focus to consider
- Lighting?
What does matter to make a good enough stereo at the capture point so I don't have to Video Edit to make it watchable?
I've been experimenting but whatever I do, it's never watchable in DeoVR, it always has the classical cross-eyed feel or completely off. Is there dev mode etc. where I can edit left/right eye. I doubt as I guess that can only be done in video editing.
I guess this the real question:
What's the right configuration to just capture and watch without doing video editing, or is that simply not possible?
